Dr Tan's journey in Medicine began in Malaysia, where he earned his Bachelor of Medical Sciences from the International Medical University. He continued his studies in England, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Warwick in 2015. After completing his residency in Scotland, Dr Tan ventured to Australia, where he served as a medical officer on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane. He returned to the UK and completed his GP training in the East Midlands, obtaining Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK in 2022. Drawn by the warmth of Australia, Dr Tan decided to bring his passion for General Practice back to the country.

Born in Malaysia, Dr Tan is fluent in Mandarin and proficient in Malay. With a keen interest in General Medicine, he approaches patient care with compassion whilst embodying the essence of evidence-based medicine.
